One thing I learned on the job several years ago: Leave lots of open space in the schedule the farther out you go. 6 months from now might have 50% of your time, or less, scheduled. Tomorrow, maybe 90% planned.

Work on an assignment long before it’s due. I started a paper yesterday that isnt due until April 8th… it feels amazing to take your time and not have to worry about submitting it the next day.
