Don’t make goals that are dependent on others. SMART goals are independent and most importantly, attainable.

review your commitments & schedule with objective eyes to see if it’s actually realistic. if not, change what you can to make it realistic. if you can’t change anything on your side, talk to your equivalent of a student advisor & see if you guys can come up with a plan that fits around your work schedule & demands.
