I like to keep things simple—I set 3-5 big goals for the year, then break them into quarterly milestones and weekly tasks. I use a mix of Notion for tracking progress and a physical planner for daily focus. It helps me stay on track without feeling overwhelmed. How do you make sure you stick to your plans?
This year I plan to put my vision board on my notion! In a side by side format I’ll put my vision board beside photos of me achieving or doing what’s on it. Hopefully, I’d be able to accumulate photos or receipts throughout the year.
I’ve been using AI to help break down goals into tasks and also getting AI to research the tasks. It significantly lowers the barrier of entry of getting started.
The app I am using also helps categorizes the tasks into 4 categories, essentially the Eisenhower matrix. Instead of due date, I also see how many days remaining until it’s due to get a better sense of urgency.
Everyday, I start by picking the most important task from that list and just focus on that task.
